Mike joined LourdMurray in 2009 after a decade in business consulting followed by a focus in financial services with Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). During his time as senior consultant and principal with Price Waterhouse (PwC) and Sierra Systems Group, he had the benefit of advising private and public institutions, as well as startups, in executing new strategies and implementing business building solutions. At DFA, he grew to understand and appreciate the academia-driven, scientific approach to investing. By leading projects on behalf of the various departments, including Operations, Technology, Marketing, Sales, HR and Compliance, he developed a broad and deep understanding of the business and industry. Mike has spent his entire career in a professional services capacity and enjoys leveraging that experience to build LourdMurray into an investment business rooted in service. Since 2009, he has led LourdMurray’s operations throughout its 500%+ growth in size and more than 1000% growth in assets. In addition to his corporate strategy and operational responsibilities, he enjoys serving as advisor to a select group of clients.
Mike graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, attained an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and holds a Series 65 license. He loves raising his two boys with his wife and loves/hates the game of golf for its endless opportunity to improve.
